INTRODUCTION
This Program has been designed to develop and enhance the English language and academic study skills for our Vietnamese students.
The Australian Diplomas are taught in English, using western teaching methodologies. Therefore it’s essential that students develop good levels of English, as well as gain understanding and knowledge of western learning styles.
The Program has been developed by Mr. Greg Radford, M.Ed., who has 25 years experience in vocational education and holds a Masters Degree in Education. At the completion of the program, student will have the English Language skills and Academic skills to continue their studies at Diploma Level.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The Foundation Program has been designed into 2 stages:
LENGTH OF PROGRAM
The Program is conducted over 15 weeks and students are required to attend 5 days per week undertaking 20 hours of studies
MINIMUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Undertake Kent's English Assessment Test
COMPLETION
Students will receive a Kent Certificate showing completion of the Foundation Program.
MODE OF DELIVERY
Students are introduced to Kent’s “Student Centred Learning Approach” whereby the students are given learning materials and attend classes taught by experienced Western and Vietnamese teachers. The “Student Centred Learning Approach” is a learning strategy developed by the leading Australian Universities.
